Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes. This energetic and rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful difference by assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and families to deliver comprehensive care that enhances quality of life for those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. Your dedication and attention to detail will help foster a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for every client. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity Monitor patient observations including vital signs, mental status, and overall health condition; report changes promptly Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance Provide specialized care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory-related conditions through tailored memory care strategies Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs while ensuring food safety standards are met Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with health standards Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records and EMR systems; ensure compliance with privacy regulations Support hospice or palliative care clients by providing compassionate companionship and symptom management Assist with mobility using appropriate techniques and equipment to prevent falls or injuries Qualifications Proven experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role within home care, assisted living, nursing homes or long-term care settings Knowledge of medical terminology, patient observation techniques, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or catheter care are preferred Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or dementia is highly valued Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for documentation purposes Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and patient-centered care Flexibility to work live-in shifts or flexible hours as needed Join us in delivering exceptional home health services that truly make a difference! $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
