Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Part time Personal Care Assistant , where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and healthcare needs. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care, promote independence, and foster a safe and nurturing environment. In this role you will work 1 on 1 with our clients in their homes, you'll be essential in delivering high-quality care that enhances quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health , report changes, and maintaining accurate care plans Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Use proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safety during mobility assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of client spaces Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement Document patient observations, care activities, and communication with healthcare teams accurately and thoroughly Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred, but not required Demonstrated ability to observe patients closely and recognize changes in condition or behavior Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities support is advantageous Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with manual handling tasks while maintaining client dignity and safety Join us to become an integral part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional personal care that empowers individuals to live their best lives. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
