Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Home Health Aide to join our compassionate team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to clients by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring their comfort and safety in their own homes. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring home and community care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and document patient observations including vital signs, medication administration, and changes in condition using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, laundry, light cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment Assist with specialized care needs including catheter care, Alzheimer's and dementia care, hospice support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information during medical documentation and record keeping Use medical terminology accurately when recording patient data or communicating with healthcare professionals Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and enhance quality of life Skills Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health status promptly Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of ADLs assistance techniques and caregiving best practices for seniors and individuals with disabilities Familiarity with medical procedures such as vital signs measurement, medication administration, CPR certification, catheter care, and hospice care protocols Ability to operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts safely and effectively Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Join us in delivering exceptional home health care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably at home.
