Job Description
Direct Support Professional needed Part-Time in Jackson, Tn. Hours of service are Monday 1:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday 1:00PM-8:00PM and Wednesday 9:00AM-4:00PM for a total of total of 21 hours weekly, with the possibility of additional hours. The DSP will provide assistance and support for daily living activities for the client in the home setting and in the community in accordance with the Person Centered Support Plan. Provide necessary assistance for eligible persons in order to meet their daily living needs and to facilitate their participation in community life. Assistance will include direct assistance with daily living, attendant care, household services, safe transfers, assistance with meal planning and preparation. DSP will also be required to provide transportation as needed. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess appropriate communication skills. Must possess basic living skills and the ability to provide personal care services. Must be able to pass background check. Must pass all job related training. Must have valid drivers license, proof of automobile insurance, and dependable transportation.
