Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of daily living care. In this vital role, you will help enhance the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with empathy, professionalism, and respect. Your efforts will empower clients to maintain independence, dignity, and comfort in their homes or care facilities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working within a supportive and dynamic team environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping, cleaning duties, and proper manual handling techniques Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities accurately and efficiently Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers and mobility assistance Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, geriatrics, and behavior management strategies Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or manual handling are advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is highly valued Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, residents, and families Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to client transportation or community outings Join us in making a positive impact by providing high-quality caregiving services that foster independence, safety, and dignity. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
