As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail. Duties Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids safely and effectively Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning patient areas, laundry, and general sanitation Document patient observations, progress notes, and incident reports accurately for team communication and compliance purposes Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, families, and other caregivers to develop and implement personalized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement for clients Follow all safety protocols including CPR, first aid procedures, and emergency response procedures during incidents or medical emergencies Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA compliance Experience caring for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable Familiarity with care equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident transfer devices preferred Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities or special needs Excellent communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward caregiving roles Join us as a Caregiver where your compassion fuels your work!
