A Home Health Aide helps individuals who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing, and light housekeeping. They can care for patients in their homes or other healthcare settings, and may perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require more comprehensive agency-approved training programs.
The QMHP Assistant/RCA will respond to all issues related to the provision of a low demand, 24 hour emergency shelter. Activities will be directed toward providing a safe therapeutic environment where residents can establish a trusting relationship with each other, the staff and the program. The QMHP Assistant/RCA works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule. Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
License:
Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
Experience:
Preferred:
Bilingual in Spanish At least 1 year working with unhoused individuals, 1 year working with Veterans.

Workhours:
6:00AM•2:00PM.
Workdays:
Thursday•Monday.
Salary:
