- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients through engaging in conversation, recreational activities, and social interaction.
- Document client care activities, observations, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care and support for clients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines governing home health care services.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required or 1 year previous experience.
- Previous experience in home health care, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients and their families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license to travel to client locations.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
