Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and committed to promoting independence, safety, and well-being through personalized care services. All positions are paid, ensuring you are valued for your vital contributions from day one. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support individuals with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Administer medication following prescribed protocols and document accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Operate standard passenger vehicles safely for client transportation or community outings Implement safe patient lifting practices using equipment like Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques to prevent injury Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments Strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's care, memory care techniques, and behavior management strategies Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for documentation purposes Skilled in safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Join us to provide compassionate care that enhances quality of life!
