Job Description

Job Title:
Direct Care (RSS) available shifts: Saturday-Sunday 7:00am to 7:00pm(24hr/wk) Saturday-Sunday 7:00pm to 7:00am.(24hr/wk) Saturday-Sunday 5:00am-7:00am (part-time)
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Complete care of consumers; activities of daily living (grooming, eating, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene) Maintain good housekeeping and assist with housekeeping as indicated by individual needs Keep facility and equipment safe and clean condition. Report in time if repair is needed. Preparing everyday meals depending on the individuals diet and needs. Written reports of incidents occurring during shift. Direct supervision of individuals safety and security, conducting fire drills as required. Assist in training behavior management plans or behavior strategies, and complete require documentation in a timely manner. Maintain positive relationships with consumers, co-workers, and families. Assists in program plan development as needed by Case Manager. Participates in program plan implemented by Case Manager. Assists and supervises individual in the community activities, social interaction, participation in leisure activities and development of social behaviors. Advise supervisor of any special needs or emergencies that occur. Completes documentation such as training goals, and training reports on a timely manner. Report suspected abuse & neglect to supervisor immediately (within one hour) Attends mandatory staff meetings and trainings as required. Provides assistance with ambulation and mobility. Provides assistance with medications and perform tasks as delegated by an RN. (MARS) need to be filled out as delegated by RN. Maintain clinical records and documentation as required by policies and procedures. Employee must be at the assigned work location in time. Regular attendance and punctuality is a most, if any emergency occurs and will not be at the location in time please contact your supervisor immediately. Medical appointments or need to be out let your supervisor know in advance plus fill out the proper form.
Qualifications:
Prior nursing home, caregiver or CNA experience is preferred Valid driver's license if applicable Analytical and problem solving, and decision making skills Perform job successfully, must be able to perform essential duty satisfactory Knowledge of basic homemaking skills, identification of consumer training needs. Availability to identify consumer training needs. Training and physical ability to assist and respond to consumer needs. Patience, consistency, flexibility, tolerance and creativity in dealing with individuals and families. Work Remotely No
