Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care, promote independence, and ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. Your dedication will help create a nurturing environment where individuals thrive and feel valued. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safe patient care Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal service to promote proper nutrition Maintain a clean, safe living environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control protocols Document care activities accurately in resident records, including patient monitoring notes and incident reports Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to foster community connection and emotional well-being Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, autism support, and hospice care is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for resident assistance and safety measures Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of resident information Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families Join us as a Direct Support Professional to make a meaningful difference every day! Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
