Vision insurance We are seeking a team member to join our Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS) On-Site program! In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by enhancing their quality of life and assisting them in both life and socialization skills. In this program, individuals are able to enjoy leisure and recreational activities to promote community participation. This program assists individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in the community. Schedule Monday - Friday; 7:30 am - 4pm Responsibilities

Assist with client groups of 4-8

Assist in 1:1 care (if applicable)

Assist with personal hygiene needs, eating or dressing (if client requires it)

Assist in recreational activities

Assists with client route

Assist in crafting exercises

Provides person-centered activities

Supports the pursuit and achievement of employment

Provides personal assistance for an individual who cannot manage personal care needs

Does include transportation from one on-site location to another on-site location

Promotes an individuals development of skills and behavior that support independence and personal choice Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Active Driver License

Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, co-teacher, or similar role is preferred

First aid and CPR-certified (preferred)

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Ability to lift heavy objects

Compassionate, respectful, ethical

SATORI training (training offered on-site as well)
