In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. Whether assisting with daily activities or supporting community engagement, your efforts will empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives in a supportive environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow your caregiving skills while making a positive impact every day. Duties Support medication administration and ensure care plans are followed precisely to meet individual needs Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines; maintain cleanliness of the living environment through regular cleaning tasks Observe residents for signs of health changes or behavioral issues report concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and mental stimulation Ensure a safe environment at all times Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and familiarity Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are required; additional training in HIPAA compliance and medication administration is advantageous Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral health challenges Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward residents' unique needs Valid certifications in home health or long-term care are a plus Join us to be part of a caring team that values your dedication!
