Job Description

Bee Happy Day Program is a non-profit organization that provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the Kaufman, TX and surrounding areas. We are seeking Direct Support Professionals for our Homecare program.
DSP Job Duties:
Maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients. Assisting clients with personal hygiene (including eating, and toileting). Transporting clients as needed for outings. Helping clients with daily activities Helping clients self-manage their day create educational activities to work on life skills, educational skills, personal goals
Experience:
Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred but not required. Minimum of High School Diploma or GED preferred. We are looking for individuals who are responsible, reliable, have a positive attitude, and are able to work well with others. We are looking for people who can work well in a team environment as well as independently. We are looking for care workers who have a caring attitude towards our clients and their families and are willing to help out wherever needed . We do not work on weekends or holidays!

$9.00 - $10.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you able and willing to drive out Busy Bees to small group activities in Kaufman County.

Driver's License and Insurance (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Job-related location requirement: Candidates must be within a 25-mile radius.
