Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track patient health status Support medical teams by preparing and maintaining medical equipment and supplies for procedures and treatments Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to facility policies Assist with patient transfers using appropriate transfer methods and manual handling techniques to prevent injury Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and address concerns Support emergency response efforts by applying Basic Life Support (BLS) skills such as CPR when needed in acute situations Skills Prior experience working in Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable Knowledge of hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and post-acute care practices Hands-on experience with pediatric intensive care units (PICU), intensive care units (ICU), or medical-surgical units Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health records management, and medical documentation standards Ability to operate medical equipment safely and efficiently in outpatient, inpatient, or clinic settings Strong understanding of infection control procedures and patient safety protocols Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver interactions and team collaboration Demonstrated ability to work with geriatric patients and those requiring sub-acute or outpatient care Join us if you're eager to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate care!
