This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a strong commitment to person-centered care, making a positive difference every day. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring memory or dementia care. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures Provide companionship and emotional support to promote social engagement and mental well-being Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met Use manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to transfer residents with care Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping duties and infection control practices Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or other documentation tools Support residents with behavioral management strategies for conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease Drive residents when necessary for appointments or community outings while adhering to safety protocols Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Strong understanding of ADLs, memory care, geriatrics, and dementia-specific needs Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid/CPR certification Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges Excellent communication skills for engaging residents and collaborating with team members Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and supporting mobility needs Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation of care activities Valid driver's license for transportation duties when required Compassionate approach combined with patience and adaptability in caregiving roles Join us in making a meaningful impact by providing high-quality personal care that fosters dignity, independence, and well-being.
