Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily tasks, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their independence and quality of life. This role requires a caring attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various care settings.
Duties:
  • Provide personalized care to clients based on their individual needs and care plans.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients in mobility and physical exercises.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or those requiring long-term or hospice care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience or certification in first aid is preferred.
  • Familiarity with home and community care practices.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
  • Understanding of long-term care principles.
  • Compassionate attitude towards providing hospice care.
