Job Description

Home Health Aide (North East Houston) - Make a Real Difference Every Day Are you passionate about helping others live safely and comfortably at home? Join our dedicated care team as a Home Health Aide , where your compassion and hands‑on support truly matter. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meaningful work, values independence for clients, and thrives in a one‑on‑one care environment. You'll work with a variety of individuals—seniors, people with disabilities, and those receiving hospice or memory care—providing essential daily support that enhances their quality of life. Reliable transportation is required , as you may visit more than one patient per day. What You'll Do Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility (including use of Hoyer lifts). Monitor and record vital signs , observe changes in condition, and document care accurately in EHR/EMR systems . Support medication administration while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality. Provide compassionate memory care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's using patience and tailored techniques. Assist with supervised medical tasks including catheter care , wound dressing , and hospice-related support . Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and follow dietary restrictions. Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, safe environment. Communicate effectively with the care team and follow infection control and safety standards. What You Bring Experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long‑term care is highly preferred. Strong observation skills and the ability to respond quickly to patient needs. Familiarity with EMR/EHR documentation and basic medical terminology. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is a plus. Confidence in providing ADL assistance, medication support, catheter care, and hospice care. $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
