Position Overview:
As a Direct Support Professional , you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them lead their best lives with as much independence as possible. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, personal care, skill development, and community engagement. This is a highly rewarding position where your efforts will have a direct and lasting impact on the people you support.
Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including self-care, hygiene, and motor skills. Support activities like arts and crafts, vocational skills, and community inclusion. Provide guidance in behavior management and recreational activities. Model appropriate social skills and behaviors. Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report health or safety concerns. Use personal vehicle, as needed, to transport clients (mileage reimbursed). Commit to working minimum one Saturday per month. Other duties as assigned to support client needs.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance. Ability to pass a background check. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Flexible and able to multitask effectively. Positive attitude and a desire to grow within the company.

Starting at $17.00 per hour
Expected Hours:
40 hours per week
Schedule:
Day and evening shifts available. Rotating weekends, including minimum one Saturday per month.
