Role:
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at
GOLGOTA HEALTH SERVICES
INC, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Join our passionate team in Annandale, VA, and make a meaningful impact every day!
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Help clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Encourage and facilitate community involvement and social interactions. Document client progress and maintain accurate records of care provided. Assist in implementing individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Promote a safe and supportive environment for all clients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others. Experience in a healthcare or support role is highly desirable. Must pass background checks and obtain necessary licenses. Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
