The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality home and community care, fostering independence, and ensuring safety at all times. The client enjoys companionship at home (playing Scrabble or watching the news together) and attending cultural, political and Deaf events in the community. Duties Provide direct support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transfer assistance. Food shopping and meal preparation Support the patient in engaging with community activities and maintaining social connections Drive client to appointments and events Maintain a clean, safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Experience Prior experience working as a Home Health Aide or in assisted living environments preferred but not required. Driver's license required. Computer skills are helpful Deaf and American Sign Language (ASL) fluent candidates warmly encouraged to apply.
