We are currently hiring Community-Based Direct Support Professionals to provide weekday support to adults with developmental disabilities. Position Community-Based Direct Support Professional Available Schedules Monday through Friday, with the following shift options: 7:30 AM-7:30 PM 9:00 AM-3:00 PM 12:30 PM-7:30 PM Full-time and community-based positions are available. Key Responsibilities Support adults with developmental disabilities in community settings such as parks, libraries, local businesses, volunteer sites, and recreational locations. Encourage independence, self-advocacy, and social skill development. Promote progress toward Individual Support Plan goals through daily community participation. Safely transport participants to and from activities using your own vehicle. Use your creativity and knowledge of local events to plan engaging and meaningful outings. Provide positive behavioral support and redirection when needed. Accurately complete daily activity documentation and progress notes. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle. Must maintain valid automobile insurance. No accidents or major traffic violations within the past three years. CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications, or willingness to obtain them. Dependable, positive, and professional attitude. Knowledge of local community activities and resources. Consistent weekday availability for one of the listed shifts.
