This energetic role involves providing attentive assistance, promoting independence, and ensuring safety in various care settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, and home care environments. You will be a vital part of creating a warm, respectful, and engaging atmosphere for residents and clients alike. Whether working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those experiencing memory loss, your dedication will help enhance their quality of life every day. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs and observe health changes to report to healthcare professionals promptly Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document care activities effectively Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning resident areas and ensuring hygiene standards are met Drive residents to appointments or community activities when required, ensuring safe transportation practices Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, and family members to coordinate personalized care plans Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Experience No Prior Experience (We train) Valid driver's license for transportation duties is a plus Join us in delivering exceptional caregiving that empowers individuals to live comfortably, safely, and happily.
