Job Summary
PRIVATE DUTY FOR A FEMALE CLIENT IN HER HOME
Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health conditions, and supporting overall well-being. As a Home Health Aide, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver attentive and respectful care that promotes independence and comfort. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and observe patient conditions, including vital signs, medication reminders, and overall health status. Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks including laundry and meal preparation aligned with dietary needs. Follow HIPAA guidelines strictly to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed accurately. Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting patient information and communicating with medical professionals. Respond promptly to patient needs while demonstrating empathy and professionalism in every interaction. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Home Health Aide or in similar settings such as assisted living facilities or nursing homes; long-term care experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and medical documentation standards. Familiarity with caring for individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities; is preferred. Certification in CPR is required; Ability to operate Hoyer lifts safely and effectively; experience with vital signs measurement is essential. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
