Lively atmosphere Safe work environment Growth opportunities Ensures physician orders are current, audits medication and client daily records Assist with proving quality care in a residential group home to clients in the areas of; community and home skills, appropriate use of leisure time, personal care, communication, social skills, task orientation, mobility and administer medication Ensure safe administration and storage of client medication Shops for household groceries and client needs Transport clients to doctor appointments as needed Conduct programming and record data as required Monitor and record the client's daily food intake Implement behavior modification techniques as applicable Conduct fire safety drills Teach and conduct clients in adapting to community living and accessing community resources and making choices

Duties:

Reading, writing, and carrying out directions Charting or taking notes for others to review Providing companionship and supportive listening Reporting changes in the health or status of the client Responding to emergency situations Administering medication Transporting client to appointments Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
