Job Description
Job Summary Olive Oasis Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one community support to an individual with developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping individuals build independence, develop life skills, and actively participate in their community. Responsibilities Provide person-centered support during community outings and activities. Encourage independence, social interaction, and community inclusion. Assist with communication, daily living, and skill-building activities. Ensure the individual's health, safety, and well-being at all times. Transport the individual to and from approved community activities. Complete accurate documentation and service notes. Maintain professional communication with supervisors and family members. Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related disabilities preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Reliable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care.
