Summary As a Home Health Aide at Trus Companionship LLC, you will play a vital role in delivering essential care and support to our clients in Richmond, VA. Your contributions will help improve the well-being of individuals who require assistance with daily activities and medical needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions. Maintain accurate medical records and report any changes in patients' conditions to healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Assist with mobility and physical exercises as needed, including lifting and transferring patients safely. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality at all times. Support clients with catheter care and other specialized health needs when required. Collaborate effectively with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to best practices. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others, especially those with disabilities. Excellent observation skills to monitor patients' conditions effectively. Familiarity with maintaining medical records is a plus. Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy is beneficial. Experience in home community care settings is highly desirable.
