Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff or physicians to facilitate timely interventions. Provide compassionate care for individuals with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, behavioral health challenges, or developmental disabilities. Skills Proven experience working with geriatric patients or in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, or assisted living environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) procedures including CPR.. Strong caregiver communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and engage empathetically with patients. Competence in infection control practices including aseptic technique and infectious disease care protocols.
