This position is to care for my aging mother in her home. Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to an individual in need of personal care. This care will be provided in the individual's home. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing homes or similar environments, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those with health challenges. This role requires a blend of practical skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to follow care plans effectively. Schedules Available 1-2 days per week 7am-7pm Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness in the living environment, ensuring a safe and hygienic space for clients. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, reporting any changes to family. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being. Collaborate with family members Experience Previous experience in a nursing home or similar caregiving environment Familiarity with patient care techniques and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous. Skills in meal preparation and cooking are beneficial for providing balanced nutrition. Ability to maintain a clean environment while adhering to safety protocols is essential.
