Direct Support Professional (DSP)

DEPENDABLE STAFF NEEDED!

Immediate need for weekend staff•Heritage House of Virginia is growing by leaps and bounds, with opportunities for DSP's and leadership roles residentially at our new group home and our expanding day support program. Our program supports adults with intellectual disabilities. Experience is great, but not necessary. Training is provided for all new staff. Currently only hiring for part-time positions that could become full-time in the future. We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Everyone is expected to work at the minimum one weekend shift per week.

Our DSPs help our program participants become a fuller part of their community while assisting them with the daily routines of life to build and retain skills which will allow them to live their lives to the fullest. We have awesome individuals in our program who deserve amazing staff to help them reach their potential. We are in need of flexible, reliable staff with weekend availability , dependable transportation, a GED or high school diploma, a good driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.
