Day Shift:

PM Night Shift:
Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM•7:00 AM Applicants must be able to consistently work their assigned every-other-weekend schedule . Position Summary The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct care, supervision, and support to adults with developmental disabilities living in our residential group home. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, professional, and committed to helping individuals maintain their independence, safety, dignity, and quality of life. Previous experience working directly with adults with developmental disabilities is required. Essential Job Responsibilities The DSP will be responsible for: Providing supervision and direct support to individuals in the group home. Assisting individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs as required. Supporting individuals with meal preparation and appropriate nutrition. Assisting individuals with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized home environment. Supporting individuals with community activities, appointments, shopping, recreation, and other activities as scheduled. Following each individual's person-centered service plan and established support protocols. Providing behavioral and emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries. Administering or assisting with medications as permitted by training, certification, and company policy. Completing required shift notes, progress documentation, medication records, and other documentation accurately and on time. Following all health, safety, emergency, infection-control, and incident-reporting procedures. Required Qualifications Applicants must : Have previous experience working with adults with developmental disabilities . Be at least 18 years of age. Have a high school diploma or GED. Be dependable and able to report to work consistently and on time. Be able to work 12-hour weekend shifts every other weekend . Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
