The role is offered on apart-time basis, for 16 hours per week. We would be very happy to have an informal conversation about the role, the available hours and how these could potentially be structured to suit both the successful candidate and the needs of the practice. Main duties of the job Carry out base-line observations such as pulse, oximetry, temperature, blood pressure and blood glucose levels, recording findings accurately. Wound care, venepuncture, phlebotomy checks and administering of medicines and vaccines. Injections - shingles, pneumo, B12, flu, covid Ensure that all clinical rooms are adequately stocked and prepared for each session. Update patient health records. Ensure that medical supplies are in stock. Act as a chaperone where required. Assist GP during the performance of minor operations. Communicate with patients, relatives, and carers including providing valuable health promotion and education. New patient health checks.
