Job Description
At Federal Way Naturopathy, our dedicated team of doctors and staff has been committed to providing reliable, affordable, and accessible patient care since 1998. We strive to embody these values every day in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are currently seeking a warm, organized, and enthusiastic Patient Care Assistant to join our busy naturopathic primary care practice. In this role, you'll provide both front and back office support alongside our experienced team of medical assistants and receptionists, supporting six naturopathic doctors (NDs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Conducting urinalysis and administering vaccines
- Assisting providers with patient care tasks
- Cleaning and stocking treatment rooms
- Scheduling appointments and managing prior authorizations
- Greeting and directing patients, responding to questions
- Supporting smooth office operations and patient flow
What We're Looking For:
- A dependable team player who is detail-oriented, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who communicates well, remains calm under pressure, and contributes to a welcoming, patient-centered atmosphere
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- WA State MA license (or ability to obtain certification within 2-3 months)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Position Details:
- 20-25 hours per week, with potential for full-time
- Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (closed major holidays)
