Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes on an on-call basis. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for those receiving care, particularly for seniors and individuals with disabilities.   • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Help with meal preparation and nutrition management, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or care manager.
  • Uphold resident rights and ensure confidentiality in all interactions. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills:
  • Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, hospice care, or memory care is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial.
  • Understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients' needs.
  • A background in nursing home settings or related healthcare fields is a plus but not mandatory.
