In this energetic and rewarding role, you will provide compassionate, personalized support that promotes growth, safety, and community engagement. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help create a positive environment where individuals thrive through tailored care, skill development, and meaningful interactions. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a real difference while developing valuable skills in behavioral health, caregiving, and social support. Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and nutrition. Support behavioral health needs through positive behavior management techniques and effective communication strategies. Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, and social events to promote socialization and independence. Collect data on progress toward individual goals and maintain accurate documentation of services provided. Administer medication following prescribed protocols and ensure safety during medication administration. Use American Sign Language or other communication methods to enhance understanding and interaction when applicable. Drive clients safely to appointments, activities, or community events using company vehicles when required. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related conditions is highly valued. Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral health practices is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and team members. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate caregiving in diverse settings. Home & community care experience is a plus; familiarity with behavioral management techniques is beneficial. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation duties. Ability to collect data accurately and maintain detailed documentation of services rendered. Willingness to obtain or demonstrate knowledge of medication administration protocols when necessary. Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual is valued!
