Location:
Tacoma, WA Position Summary Connect Fortune Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals to support children and youth with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. DSPs provide direct care, behavioral support, community integration, transportation, and skill-building while ensuring a safe and structured environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, dressing, and personal care. Implement individualized support and behavior plans. Support community outings, appointments, recreation, and life-skills development. Transport clients using agency-approved vehicles. Administer medications as trained and authorized. Complete daily documentation, behavior logs, and incident reports. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED. Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance. Ability to pass a background check. Current TB test (within 12 months).
Preferred:
CNA, HCA, or NAR credential. CPR/First Aid Certification. Nurse Delegation. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges. Required Documents Resume. Driver's License. Proof of Education. CPR/First Aid Certificate
