Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they care for, particularly individuals with disabilities or those in assisted living environments. This role requires a blend of empathy, patience, and practical skills to ensure the well-being and comfort of clients. Strongly encouraged to bring your own client!!!! Duties Provide direct support and personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages and schedules are followed. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition or concerns to appropriate staff or family members. Uphold confidentiality and respect the dignity of all clients at all times. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or patient care is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is an asset. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate direct support. Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by client needs. A genuine passion for caregiving and a commitment to improving the lives of others.
