Full-time Direct Support Professional:
Clearwater Assisted Living, LLC is a rapidly growing assisted living organization with core competencies in assisted and transitional care throughout Wisconsin. We serve adults with disabilities in the following West Central Wisconsin communities: Rice Lake, Cameron, Barron, Chetek, New Auburn, Shell Lake, Hayward, Trego, Winter, Minong, Turtle Lake, Birchwood, Almena, Cumberland, Grantsburg, Siren, Stone Lake, and Spooner. Our primary staff are Direct Support Professionals who assist our clients in-home offering assistive services.
General Role Description:
We are currently looking for a Full Time Direct Support Professional to provide personal care assistance for our clients approx. 35•40 hours per week. The ideal candidate should be independent, empathetic and thorough on the job with a strong commitment to helping others.
Responsibilities:
Perform direct care services such as assisting with activities of daily living, medication management, and personal cares. Motivate clients to participate in activities. Consistently meet the expectations of completing client logs daily. Upholding a high standard of care by showing up to work each day with a positive attitude and integrity to work with your clients in a diligent manner. Follow our scope of services and provide assistance as needed for encouraging and reminding clients to complete activities of daily living.
Skills:
Ability to think ahead and be proactive•problem solve as client challenges arise Work independently with a population of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities Ability to follow detailed training instructions on personal cares
