Care Assistant

As a Supported Living Care Worker, your role will be diverse to each client within out Extra Care Scheme. You will be responsible for establishing a professional client relationship, providing life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives, within their own homes, throughout the waking night shift. Care Sante are recruiting for a Care Assistant to join our team based in our extra care scheme at Harriet Hardy Walworth, London. Harriet Hardy is a supported living scheme where our Care Workers provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives. We currently have a 2 position available:

• 16 hours per week minimum, including working alternative weekends.

Job Description:

• Supporting service users with onsite visits to our restaurant, hairdressers and shops.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Support with administrating medication.
• Our care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Contribute as needed to a person's end-of-life care

Requirements:

• Have a right to work within the UK
