Our sample preparation team plays a critical role in processing platinum group metals and other valuable materials for a diverse client base.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Precious Metal Sample Preparation Technician to join our team. This role involves performing elemental testing, sample preparation, and supporting refining processes while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare samples including weighing, crushing, and milling. Accurately record and report test results in laboratory information management systems. Maintain grinding and splitting machines. Follow strict safety protocols when handling hazardous chemicals and high temperature equipment. Assist in refining and recovery processes as needed. Ensure compliance with quality control standards and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, high temperatures).

Preferred Skills:

Solid and powder sample preparation experience. Understanding of laboratory QA/QC procedures.

Pay:
