Job Description

Core Diagnostic Laboratories is looking to hire an experienced and motivated lab technician to join our Molecular lab team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience performing DNA/RNA extraction and PCR. Core Diagnostic Laboratories specializes in Molecular testing including Covid-19, UTI panels, Respiratory panels, Women's Health panels and Wound panels.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Medical Lab Science or
MLT/ MLS
Certification Responsibilities:
  • Sort samples by specimen type
  • Analyze sample integrity
  • Perform extraction using the Qiagen HTs
  • Plate extracted samples onto 96 or 384 well plates
  • Perform Real-Time PCR using QuantStudios
  • Analyze and report PCR results
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation
Skills:
  • Micropipetting (Single channel, multichannel & repeater)
  • Data analysis
  • Troubleshooting
  • Attention to detail
  • Standard Precautions Experience:
  • 1 year PCR experience
  • Required
  • 1 year Laboratory experience
  • Required Tuesday
  • Saturday 12am-830am
