Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Laboratory Technician, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory results that inform patient care. In this position, you will perform a variety of laboratory procedures, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Your dedication will help support diagnostic processes, contribute to patient treatment plans, and uphold our commitment to exceptional healthcare service. Duties Conduct laboratory tests using established procedures and techniques to analyze blood, urine, tissue, and other specimens. Prepare and process specimens for testing, maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Record and interpret test results accurately, documenting findings in compliance with clinical standards. Maintain laboratory equipment by performing routine calibration, cleaning, and troubleshooting as needed. Follow all laboratory procedures related to physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology to ensure precise testing outcomes. Experience Proven laboratory experience in a clinical or hospital setting with a focus on specimen collection, processing, and analysis. Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques including blood sampling (venipuncture), blood testing, and specimen handling. Familiarity with hospital or healthcare environment protocols related to patient service and safety. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques essential for accurate testing.
