Overview Join our dynamic laboratory team as a Collector, where your expertise in specimen collection and laboratory procedures will be vital to delivering accurate and timely results. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to advancing healthcare and research. As a Collector, you will be responsible for performing precise specimen collection, processing samples with care, and ensuring compliance with laboratory standards. Your skills in laboratory management and clinical techniques will contribute directly to patient care and scientific discovery. Duties Process and prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and documentation Maintain strict laboratory hygiene and aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during specimen collection and processing Assist in laboratory management tasks such as inventory control, equipment calibration, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas Follow detailed medical and veterinary terminology to accurately record specimen data and communicate findings effectively Support research or clinical projects by performing routine laboratory procedures under supervision Ensure compliance with safety standards including basic life support protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials Qualifications Proven experience in laboratories, including specimen collection and processing techniques Experience working within hospital or healthcare settings, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail Ability to operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently while following established protocols Excellent communication skills for accurately documenting procedures and collaborating with healthcare teams Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills make a real difference!
