Sleep Technician, Registered - Sleep Lab / Neurodiagnostics

SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Medical Director and upon request of a physician perform various types of EEG and sleep disorder education and testing. Ability to score sleep recordings and provide statistical reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, Sleep training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Sleep required.

Certifications:

Must be Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) or equivalent Sleep Disorders Specialty credentialing from The National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT-SDS or RRT-SDS).

Other:

Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist with current AR State License preferred.

Preferred Education:

Associates Degree in Respiratory Care or other related medical field preferred.

Will require intense concentration for periods of time. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
