Analytical Lab Technician Accredited Labs Chandler, AZ Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Computer operation Microbiology Computer literacy Writing skills Math Bachelor's degree Computer skills Full Job Description About the role: Perform routine identification and potency testing of nutraceutical supplement ingredients and finished products. Conducts microbiological tests of raw material and finished product. Orders, receives, and distributes standards, samples, documents, and other materials involved in testing of raw materials and products as needed including sampling, lab, and testing supplies.
Schedule:
8am-5pm/
Monday-Friday Responsibilities:
Follow all company policies and procedures. Follow and ensure organizational compliance to quality system. Prepare and conduct analytical tests for microbiology and chemical analysis. Receive, label, and prepare samples for analytical or microbiological testing. Responsible for performing tests using FTIR, UPLC, ICP-MS, GC-MS, LC-MS and HPTLC instruments following standard operating procedures. Perform microbiological analysis using petrifilm and BioLumix. Perform wet chemistry. Compile, document, review, interpreting, and authorization of testing results. Edit and give input on Lab Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and methods of analysis. Clean lab glassware and lab space. Receive training and conduct training in association with relevant SOPs and methods of analysis. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instruments. Maintain lab inventory supplies. Perform OOS investigations. Aid in all necessary testing for lab which is performed. Supervise and perform environmental monitoring and water testing. Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times. Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific Discipline. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may serve as a substitute. No certifications or licenses required. Must have moderate math skills. Must be detailed oriented. Complex reading skills required. Complex computer skills required. Must have complex language and writing skills. Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures. Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities. Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.
