Pay Range:

$20/hour W2 We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to perform routine testing and sample analysis of disposable paper and hygiene consumer products. The ideal candidate will have previous laboratory experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and laboratory safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine chemical, physical, and performance testing according to established laboratory procedures. Prepare, receive, label, sort, and log samples into the laboratory database. Maintain accurate laboratory reports, records, and tracking spreadsheets. Perform routine quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks on laboratory equipment. Assist with equipment calibration, verification, and maintenance activities. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safety standards. Manage laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment inventory. Archive, return, or dispose of samples according to established procedures. Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Coordinate testing activities, communicate with team members, and assist with other laboratory tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous laboratory experience is required or strongly preferred. Education or experience in science, chemistry, engineering, pulp and paper, or a related technical field is preferred. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently under supervision. Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and equipment handling.

Work Schedule:

November-December 2026: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM. Beginning January 11, 2027: Candidates will be assigned one of the following schedules:

• Monday-Thursday, day shift.
• Tuesday-Friday, day shift.
• Monday-Thursday, night shift.

Exact shift hours for January are to be confirmed. Each schedule consists of four 10-hour workdays, with an additional 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Candidates must be comfortable with the planned schedule change.
