We are seeking a Mechanical & Metallurgical Laboratory Technician to support physical and mechanical testing, inspection, documentation, and product traceability within a laboratory environment. What You'll Do Perform mechanical testing for product acceptance and qualification, including tensile, fatigue, torque, torque-tension, vibration, push-out, and torque-out testing Maintain accurate product and test traceability throughout laboratory and inspection activities Use precision measurement and inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, procedures, specifications, and testing requirements Perform dimensional, receiving, and MRB (Material Review Board) inspections as needed Use sampling plans, drawings, instructions, standards, and specifications to verify product acceptance Prepare inspection and testing documentation, including laboratory reports, logbooks, work-order entries, and dimensional layout sheets Conduct complex testing using a broad understanding of laboratory test systems and procedures Support quality and inspection activities while ensuring documentation meets established requirements What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Experience with mechanical and/or metallurgical laboratory testing Hands-on experience with tensile and fatigue testing Ability to confidently use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges Ability to read and understand blueprints, procedures, drawings, and specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation Ability to work a 2nd-shift schedule and required overtime Education & Experience Candidates may qualify through one of the following pathways: Associate degree in Metallurgy; or 5 years of laboratory experience in mechanical and metallurgical testing; or 3 years of mechanical/metallurgical laboratory training or related coursework plus 2 years of mechanical/metallurgical laboratory experience or training; or An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Additional Requirements ITAR compliance required Pre-employment physical examination required Background screening required Drug screening required — 5-panel, no THC Additional employment, education, criminal, sanctions, and other standard pre-employment verifications may apply Steel-toe shoes or boots required Schedule & Work Environment Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM-12:00 AM Overtime is required based on business needs. Pay Details:
