R&D Lab Coordinator Reports to:
R&D Manager Position Summary :
The R&D Lab Coordinator position works directly with
R&D Manager Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Tasks/ Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Order raw materials and related documents from vendors.
- Maintain raw material sample inventory and raw material information folders.
- Communicate with raw material suppliers to gather documentation, price, and lead time.
- Responsible for purchase requests in Concur and processing of invoices related to R&D activities.
- Keep track of the inventory of the lab supplies and place orders if necessary.
- Prepare costing.
- Package and ship out samples for outside testing or to other departments as needed.
- Provide cross-functional support to chemists, regulatory, sales, project center, purchasing etc.
- Maintain a clean laboratory environment and ensure that safety regulations are followed.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with minimal supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- At least 1-year experience in the personal care industry
- Basic computer skills such as Word and Excel
- Initiative
- Multitasking Education and Experience Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team. Working Conditions/Job Environment This job operates in a professional office environment.
