Full Job Description Description:
Receive daily instruction from Helix scientists to perform standard established laboratory procedures Work independently to follow standard established laboratory procedures Perform experiments under the supervision of Helix scientists Enter and record data derived from research experiments Daily lab upkeep including proper care and use of laboratory equipment Follow all mandated laboratory safety and quality protocols
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in plant science or in an area of biology with some plant science laboratory experience Basic knowledge of standard biology laboratory procedures Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in a multi-cultural setting Must be self-motivated, reliable, and efficient Proficient in basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel) for reporting and database entry. A minimum of 2 years laboratory experience through coursework and/or job experience.
