Lab Technician

Description This company is looking for a manufacturing technician to support reagent manufacturing within the packaging department. Filling bulk reagents into final container bottles and preparing kits of multiple reagents.

This includes:

obtaining bulk reagents from production; printing bottle/container labels; allocating reagent into containers; assembling containers; capping containers; packaging multiple reagents into a single container and placing finished product into inventory. o Prints labels and applies to bottles and boxes by hand or with machine o Pipetting reagents into bottles o Measuring reagent volumes by graduated cylinder o Operates packaging equipment: printer, labeler, electronic/mechanical fillers o Fills non-sterile liquid products in dark room and fume hood work areas o Prepares components, bottles, inserts, and instructions o Assembles Kits o Verifies accuracy and documents batch records o Works following SOPs and following directions from Manager o Keeps inventory status on products o Maintains a clean, orderly and safe laboratory environment following health and safety guidelines o Performs other duties as assigned Top Skills Details manufacturing, technician, pipetting, reagent,Sop,Medical device Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to follow SOP
• Familiarity with pipetting
• Punctuality and reliable
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to work with animal plasma/serum based products
• Ability to wear latex gloves and safety glasses Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newark, CA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
